MAM Growth Equity is currently looking for an Analyst to join their team.

As a Private Equity Analyst in our Growth Equity team, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the process when we make substantial growth investments into Nordic fast growing companies. Our portfolio companies typically have high ambitions to significantly scale-up operations and enter new markets. Your role will be central in helping the team provide high caliber value creation support (qualitative and quantitative insights, benchmarking support, best practices, and tools) to our portfolio companies. In your work you will also be responsible for conducting financial analysis, modelling, and valuation of both potential and existing portfolio companies.

We are looking for an outgoing and positive person with a curious mindset, who can quickly gain a holistic understanding of growth investing fundamentals and work both independently, as well as part of a highly ambitious investment team. You have a keen interest in entrepreneurship and investing, you have great problem-solving skills, and you aim to continuously develop yourself. You are used to working in a structured and efficient way and you are eager to help in developing the team’s work processes and practices.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• 1-3 years of work experience from investment banking, management consulting or private equity
• Enthusiasm towards and/or experience from entrepreneurship, investing and growth companies
• You have completed your studies in finance, industrial engineering and management, or similar field with an excellent academic record
• Outstanding financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills, and command of relevant tools
• Excellent communication skills, e.g. the ability to communicate complex financial concepts and analysis to both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong ability to prepare and present presentation materials
• Fluent in at least Finnish and English, knowledge of any other relevant languages, especially Swedish, is seen as an asset
• Hands-on attitude and ability to learn new things proactively
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, both with other investment professionals within our firm and key individuals in our portfolio companies
